 Cathedral High School Class of 1964 - 2008 Golf Outing Pictures in Gallery: 2 The 8th Annual CHS OT Open Invitational Golf Outing was held at Plum Creek Golf Club on May 24, 2008. A full field of golfers competed for fame and prizes. As promised last year, the revised rules allowed the Old Timers to regain the gold from the Young Turks. Representing the Class of 1964 were Steve Bowman, Al Cerulli, Bob Griffin, Ed Guthery, John Hannon, Hawk Hawkins, Joe O'Connell, Bob Oliver, Pete O'Malley, Julian Peebles and Greg Weber. Tom Sherer was on the injured list, but came out to provide moral support. Other classes were represented by Dick Carroll, Mickey Quinn, Bill Roberts, Jim Somrack, Bob Matthews, Jim Maquire, John Quinn, Jack Ross and Bill Keller. We were also joined by family members and friends. Congratulations to Jim Somrack who was the medalist shooting 1 under par 71. Jim was also the medalist at the 1962 IHSAA State Final Golf Tournament. He was the most recent Cathedral golfer to achieve this distinction until this year's tournament. Obviously age has not caught up to Jim.
